WOMENSWEAR GARMENT TECH - PART TIME

An amazing opportunity has arisen to join our product team as the Womenswear Garment Tech for I Love Ugly. You will be working alongside our designers, production manager and suppliers to drive the development, sampling and production of our womenswear product. You will bring a passion for quality and details, be open to innovation, constructive feedback and constantly looking to improve your skills; whilst bringing fresh ideas.

You will be responsible for bringing the designers vision to life, creating all tech packs, running fit sessions and communicating all development comment’s to suppliers. You will have experience working with offshore suppliers and work closely with our suppliers to maintain critical paths for each range.

The role is 3 days a week based in our Westgate office, the ideal candidate will have a relevant qualification and 2-3 years experience working in a similar role with off shore suppliers. You will need to be experienced in excel; working with garment specs and grading.

Key tasks:

  • Tech Pack creation, development and grading
  • Supplier communication
  • Measuring and QCing all samples
  • Maintaining development and productions to meet critical path deadlines
  • Run fit meetings
  • Preparing sample ranges
  • Maintaining fabric library
  • Checking and approving all strike offs

Requirements:

  • Relevant qualification
  • 2-3 Years + experience in a similar role
  • Off shore production experience
  • Proficient at Excel
  • Grading knowledge
